SOURCE: Paris Saint-Germain striker Pedro Pauleta has not hidden his frustration over the French capital club's domestic season. PSG sit in the 18th spot in Ligue 1, inside the drop zone, and have only two games left to avoid relegation to the second division. The Portuguese veteran, who has been linked with a move to one of the "big three" in Portugal at the end of the season, had recently claimed that only demotion to Ligue 2 would make him leave the club he joined in 2003. But according to his most recent allegations, leaving the Paris-based club seems to be a decision taken a long time ago. "At the beginning of the season, I was thinking about a different ending, I was hoping to have the opportunity to enjoy it," he told France Football. "But, today, I do not have that opportunity." Meanwhile, Pauleta explained that his team-mates are not the main responsibles for PSG's current situation, adding that keeping the club in the first division would be the best goodbye gift he could have. Pauleta arrived in France in 2000 from Deportivo de La Coruña, having scored 141 goals during his eight seasons in this country.
