Benfica Eye Yebda

Benfica are reportedly weighing up a move for Le Mans' defensive midfielder Hassan Yebda.

The French player's current deal is due to expire in the summer, and the 23-year-old is reported to be interested in a challenge abroad.

With Benfica set to loan out Binya and sell Katsouranis, the midfield is in need of reinforcements, and are now drawing up a list of targets.

However, the Eagles seem uninterested in spending big, and they are understood to have set their sights on Yebda, who could arrive on a free transfer.

Benfica will reportedly have to face stiff competition to win the race for the 23-year-old's signature, as Lazio and Roma have also been credited with a keen interest in the Le Mans player.
