SOURCE: Middlesbrough midfielder Fábio Rochemback has stated that he would like to return to Sporting Clube de Portugal at some point, but added that he's happy enough at the English side for now... The Brazilian player left the ranks of Sporting in August 2005 after Barcelona FC, the club he was contracted to, sold him to the Premier League side. Rochemback was linked with a return to the club he represented on loan during the last summer transfer window, but such move never came true. The versatile midfielder has expressed his wish to return to the Portuguese club he played with for two seasons, saying: "I really liked Sporting and Portugal - I always felt very good there. "So, if the opportunity to return comes, I would be very happy." Rochemback's contract at Middlesbrough is due to expire at the end of the season, with the 26-year-old stating that he would be willing to join "Sporting or any other club", since he is a "professional open to any offers." "Anyway, I am happy at Middlesbrough, so let's see what happens," he added.
