Monaco Target Maniche

Atlético Madrid midfielder Maniche is said to be a target for French Ligue 1 side Monaco...

The Portuguese international is currently on a six-month loan deal at Inter Milan but has failed to cement his position in Roberto Mancini's midfield, having made only 7 appearances for the Nerazzurri.

Maniche has been finding life hard in Milan, and with Atlético Madrid boss Javier Aguirre still seeming uninterested in his services, the former Porto player could be looking for some regular first-team action elsewhere.

It is now understood that Monaco president Michel Pastor has met with his Portuguese target to discuss a possible move.

However, the 30-year-old is said to be a target of several clubs in Europe, with Portuguese radio station Antena 1 suggesting the player's agent Jorge Mendes may have other offers on the table.
