SOURCE: FC Porto's midfielder Lucho González has emerged as a target for Juventus, according to Italian daily Tuttosport. The Turin-based club have now reportedly set their sights on El Commandante, following previous reports suggesting that La Vecchia Signora were interested in the services of Fenerbahce's Alex and Sevilla's Christian Poulsen. The Argentine hinted earlier this month that he could leave the Portuguese outfit in order to join a more competitive league, hoping that such move would allow him to earn a regular place in the Albiceleste national squad. The newspaper now claims that Juventus could offer cash plus the services of Portuguese midfielder Tiago to take Lucho to Italy. The former Chelsea player has found first-team chances very limited since he joined from Lyon and could well be interested in returning to Portugal to get his career back on track. González has been vital to the Dragons' midfield since his arrival in 2005, and is currently in the Argentina squad for the game against Egypt this afternoon.
