SOURCE: Luis Figo believes that he would do a good job if he were able to take control of his beloved Sporting Lisbon when he finally retires from playing football. The Portuguese superstar was asked if he could be tempted into becoming the president of a club and he admitted that it would be an attractive proposition for more than one reason. With his future at Inter still up in the air, Figo could well head to the United States for a swansong before deciding what he will do after his playing career comes to a close. "President of Sporting? Why not?. If I chose to become a football director then I am well-qualified to serve Sporting. It could be possible. It would be an important move in personal and professional career," he explained. "More than any other, they are the club of my heart. But I am not obsessed with these things." One area that Figo is already looking to work in is the oil industry after being influenced by Inter president, Massimo Moratti, who made his fortune in the sector. "I am going to focus myself on that area, essentially. I have some ideas to put into practice and I think that they could really do well. When I leave football I will have more time to decide what to do," Figo added.
