Binya Set For Loan Spell

Portuguese sports daily A BOLA suggests that Benfica defensive midfielder Gilles Binya could leave the club on loan at the end of the season.

The Cameroonian international has made 20 appearances for Benfica this season, having received eleven yellow and two red cards while representing the Portuguese club.

His performances have given him the image of an aggressive player, and a hard tackle on Celtic's Scott Brown during a Champions League match even gave him a six-match suspension.

With Benfica having guaranteed the services of Rúben Amorim for the next season, Binya seems to have become surplus to requirements, and a loan transfer has not been ruled out by the Eagles.

The 23-year-old lacks the experience Benfica are interested in, and they seem to believe that a loan spell will be important for him to get games under his belt.
