QUARESMA played lol.

He played 15 minutes, and was the highest rated player on inter.it (voted by fans).

Yea he looked quite good when he came on. He seriously better think of a move this summer. Coming off the bench once in a blue(or in this case a black & blue one) moon is doing nothing for his career. Although at times he does go missing in games or is a bit sloppy, when he's truely on his game there are few out there that are better in my opinion. He really should have gone to Genoa last year, but being the bullheaded "Cigano", once he's got an idea in his head nothing is gonna make him change it.It would have been good as Melito left he really could have taken the role of the big playmaker. Damned shame, cause at the end of the day all that talent is just going to waste.

Quaresma called up for Tomorrows game.

With Balo being out of the line-up there is a chance that Q might get a run out and get some more playing time.

He has to move back to Portugal, screw going abroad Quaresma its not for you. Theres no shame in being another Joao Pinto. Quaresma is an important player for Portugal he needs to play. Don't reject coming to Benfica,Sporting or Porto.

Inter still have many midfielder options that can keep RQ on the bench. I didn't see him play last game but read that he was a good sub. Let's hope for the best but I'm not going to put a death grip on it... He has not proven to be a starting member of Inter nor a Portuguese national squader.

I still think the EPL is the league better suited for him. He doesn't have to come back to Portugal. He can start on a midtable team in England & play well. He did fine at Chelsea. Just never got the chance to play consistently. Add the fact that Hiddink has it in for the Portuguese.
But none the less he can play abroad. He's just stubborn. Quaresma can be such a dynamic player. Inter is far from the place he needs to be to be that player though. They're just not going to let him do what he wants. You can read a novel while watching Italian football.

Hiddink has it in for the portuguese? Didn't seem to effect carvalho, bosingwa either. Hell even deco played.

quaresma didn't play much for chelsea because Hiddink said the main aim was the champions league and he wanted to keep the same group of players together and Quaresma was not legible to play in the tournament.

And he's not very good.

The problem is I don't think RQ wants to settle for a middle/lower table team. Look at all the talks and rumors during last year's transfer season (even this years): Genoa, Tottenham, Everton... all middle table teams. all rumors or talks that were stopped very shortly. He went for Chelsea on loan even if he and Scolari weren't perfectly eye to eye which could have impacted greatly his chances to play on the pitch. He will still stick with Inter but honestly even if he's on the bench a lot lately, it's all in due time before he gets more play time. Inter just have a ton of midfielders that are very flexible. Even though they dumped Mancini on AC Milan (and boy was Berlusconni beyond pissed off on that) they picked up Mariga from Parma. Tons of options. If or when he wants to open up the attack towards the wings, Q steps in. Blame it on Q and Q alone for flopping as he has but at least lately he has gained some confidence back and played decent.

And no, you can't read a novel while watching Serie A. Italian footy was massively guilty years ago for always playing defensive minded but few years back that has changed without a doubt. Some teams still follow the traditional way of it but today's Serie A is not the same as all out D and counter. They've adopted to other tactics. This is one of the most incorrect assumptions of Serie A today.

I watch Serie A on a weekly basis dude. I can enjoy it but it's not exactly "sexy" to say the least. Better yes, but still not exactly attractive. Any Italian would murder me for saying this, but the foreign talent has made it watchable. It's still very much a tactical game over there though.

Quaresma called up again to play against Palermo.

With Balo still in the Doghouse, Q is almost sure to get some playing time on the weekend. Hopefully he can make it 3 straight quality performances.
