I doubt Braga will be able to pay his wages. It's important that Braga are ambitious but careful when it comes to spending money. Viana is a great player but once one player starts earning a lot, the others will want more.

Its a fact that Braga cannot afford his wages.
Now, its a total different story when its the player that says that he would sign a contract with Braga right away. Unfortunately, this is not enough.
For Braga to keep him, Viana would have to agree in a substancial wage reduction. And, as much I loved reading his interview, I dont think keeping him is possible. Maybe infwe get Liga dos Campões, and that's a big maybe.

Do people honestly think we carn't sign him. If valencia want him out viana will get less money then what his on now whereever he goes.

For him saying he would love to stay at braga it shows he could be thinking of a pay cut. His aware of our finiancial situation im sure and even if we did match his wages that are the same as valancia im sure we can do it. Also if we make champions league we will receive massive amounts of money that we normally wouldn'ty get. Lots of things will come into factor.

Just like if aguiar is to re-sign with us at season end. Will be on a reduction of what dinamo would offer.

I am glad to see Viana doing so well. I loved him at Sporting and still can't believe SCP did nothing to attempt to sign him last summer when he even expressed interest in representing Sporting again.

Ive always been a fan of viana so you could imagine the joy when he joined us. As a toon fan i though he did well for us with limited oppertunities due to bad luck with injuries and scored some nice goals. It just shows that if you allow him to play regualy then you will see what a real good footballer he is.

Well the pressure is on salvador now.

That fans love him and want him to stay and viana has turned around on a number of times now saying he wants to stay at braga. So it comes down to orginaising something with valencia.

Signing Viana permanently would be a huge step for Braga in the right direction. He could be a key figure in the squad for many years & the face of the club. Problem is does Braga have the funds to keep him & does Valencia care to part with him at a reasonable price.

Apparently he is for sale for only 1mil. I think its his wages that could pose a problem for braga. I still think Sporting should try to sign this guy.
