PortugueseFutebol.com was founded in September 2005 by Danny Teixeira based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Here at PortugueseFutebol.com, our aim is to provide a news and information website about Portuguese soccer that would help connect supporters in English speaking countries. This would enable people who are not fluent in Portuguese to keep track of Portuguese Soccer. Portuguese soccer has many followers in Canada, United States, Australia, and England whom are left alienated because there are very few English resources available. It is our hope that PortugueseFutebol.com will help to raise the name of the Portuguese game all around the world.

To assist in building the supporting community of Portuguese soccer, we have provided a forum where user's can come together to discuss their thoughts on both the game within Portugal involving the Portuguese Superliga, Liga de Honra, Portugal Cup, Carlsberg Cup, as well as discussion of the Portuguese National Soccer Team. Furthermore, users are more then welcome to discuss Portuguese players playing out in other countries.

This logo represents the fact that you are Portuguese and love its soccer. It was created for the purposes of identifying PortugueseFutebol.com. Originating from the Portugal National Team Logo, the "P" represents Portugal. Embedded within the logo is the same designs you will find on the Portugal National Flag. Show your colors!
